Geislinger’s couplings and dampers pave the way for innovative solutions for electric & hybrid drive systems.

Innovative electric & hybrid drive systems demand sophisticated solutions. In particular, the Geislinger Gesilco® product line with its super lightweight displacement couplings is ideally suited for electric and hybrid applications. Geislinger will be exhibiting at Electric & Hybrid Marine World Expo in Amsterdam. The exhibition is dedicated to showcasing the very latest and next-generation electric and hybrid marine charging and propulsion technologies, components and solutions.

Geislinger offers tailor-made couplings, dampers, and shaft solutions for drive systems. The material, design, size, function, and fiber orientation of our Gesilco® products can be adapted to the specific requirements of various applications which allow for tailor-made solutions. Additionally, Gesilco® products are characterized by their lightweight and compact design. This results in a weight reduction of up to 90% compared to standard solutions and leads to a significant improvement in the dynamic drivetrain behavior. Electric and hybrid drive systems benefit from low, almost linear restoring forces as well as from the highest torque transmission with the best dynamic behavior. Further advantages are electrical insulation and non-magnetic properties, which are extremely important for many electric and hybrid drive systems. Even under extreme conditions, the highest shock resistance of our products is a great benefit. Furthermore, Gesilco® products are resistant to hot ambient temperatures. Acoustically optimized product solutions are possible as well. The acoustic competence of Geislinger is underlined by its worldwide unique Geislinger Acoustic Test Bed.
